Well its not the case now you can change the voltage levels in DC with efficiency as high as 93% with this Mt3608 2a dc dc step up boost power module. The module takes low voltage DC input at higher current and outputs the higher DC voltage with less current. It can provide output ranging from 5V-26V at maximum output current of 2A and at most settings 1A output continuous current is available at most of the voltage levels. It can be used in small DC motors where High voltage is required and you must power them with the battery, changing logic levels, in consumer electronic products etc.

Product Description
To incorporate this module in your system you need to connect the input DC wires to respective input terminals on the board and take the output from the Output terminals. If you need to change the output voltage, you can do that by using the variable resistor knob given on the board.
